Swimming Pool

 

Facilties:

The extensive pool area contains a 25 metre, 6-lane competitive deck level pool. In addition it has a warm up pool, and a kiddies leisure pool which comes complete with a full size Pirate Ship, Bubble Pool and Interactive water features. If that is not enough to set your pulses racing there is also a 65m waterslide which proves a favourite with all.

The main pool is equipped with a moveable floor, which allows depths to be adjusted to suit individual sessions. There are public pool sessions seven days a week, from Lane Swimming to simply relaxing and paddling about. We now also have Sauna and Steam room facilities for our customers located on the pool deck at no extra cost. Check out our Opening Times for details of our public sessions

A variety of water based classes are also available and include Aqua Fit, Parent and Toddler sessions, morning lessons and of course Adult Swimming Lessons.

Disabled Users:
Our Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, we have recently installed a hoist system to assist disabled users getting into and out of the pool and a specially designed disabled friendly changing room is also available to ensure that everybody can enjoy our great facilities.

Entry Prices:

Monthly Swim Passes available for purchase allows unlimited use of the pool during public sessions:

Please note: Swim hats must be worn during all lessons and are available for purchase at reception for €2 each.

Leisureland reserves the right to vary any of these charges and programmes.
Lockers use a refundable €1 coin. Hairdryers are available for 50c.

 

Swimming Lessons:

We offer a range of classes to suit your needs, from absolute beginners to swimmers who simply wish to improve stroke technique. Our qualified, experienced swim teachers will help you achieve your goals.

If you feel unsure of your swimming capabilities your teacher will gladly assess and advise you at your first lesson. Lessons will commence again in September 2006, as they do not take place in July & August. If you would like to be contacted regarding the next course of lessons please contact us.

Lessons run for a period of 6/7 weeks, 1 lesson per week.  The fee for the full course must be paid for in advance and will cost €48/€54 depending on the length of the course.  You choose one of these classes and come that same night for the duration of the course.

Aquafit

Aquafit is the ideal workout for people of all ages and levels of fitness with particular exercises to suit everyone even non-swimmers.
It is a low impact workout designed to burn fat, tone muscle, build strength and increase aerobic fitness and flexibility. The waters natural buoyancy insures that while exercising very little stress is put on joints such as the ankles and knees.

Our qualified instructors will guide you through the exercises step by step so that your optimum workout is achieved.

Classes are subject to demand. No booking required.
