Leisurelands' Events Centre is one of Galway's finest venues for events. The venue is suitable for various events including concerts, exhibitions, conferences or sporting events.

With an area of 633 metres squared (excluding large stage area & balcony), and the capacity to hold 1,010 for seated events and 1,200 for standing events our Centre is the ideal location for any show. See "In the Spotlight" on our home page for details of upcoming events.

80s Icons Show visits Leisureland for the first time on Saturday 2nd of November. 80s Icons Show is Ireland’s first and only touring show dedicated to celebrating the music and culture of the 1980s. Join us as we transport you back to a time when big shoulder pads, colourful clothes, and a diverse array of music defined a generation. Hear musical hits from artists like Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Go West, Nik Kershaw, Paul Young, Phil Collins and many more, 80s Icons Show is a must-see for any true 80s fan, so sit back for a show that defines a decade.

Peter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands, Joy Division and New Order. Peter Hook & The Light have since moved through each of those albums, culminating in the Factory Records Substance compilations, and recently celebrated over four decades of the continuing influence of Joy Division and Ian Curtis with the Joy Division: A Celebration concerts where both of the band’s albums were played in full.

BBC ONE series All Round to Mrs. Brown’s continues to achieve record breaking viewing figures and Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas Day and New Year’s Day TV specials also returned for the festive period dominating ratings once again. Most recently D’Mini Series aired on both BBC One and RTE One with viewing figures again breaking records and has been shortlisted for the upcoming TV Choice Awards

The Leisureland Theatre is one of Galway’s finest venues suitable for a variety of events including concerts, exhibitions, conferences or sporting events. With the capacity to hold 1,020 seating or 1,200 standing the Leisureland Theatre is the ideal location for any show or event. Not only the home to the famous Trad on The Prom, Leisureland has been host to artists such as Christy Moore, Daniel O Donnell, Nelly to Comedians such as The 2 Johnnies, Mario Rosenstock and John Bishop to events such as The Wedding Expo, Darkness into Light and many more.
